In this tutorial we will go through the basics of human facial anatomy, from bone structure to muscles and fat pads. We’re going to discuss a bit about the major ones and some of the influence they have on the final surface of what we’re sculpting.
The tutorial comes with a .zpr file that includes the male and female skulls on which we’re going to explain the basic bone structure and with the ecorche I made a while ago which give you an easy way to identify each muscle and fat pad. There’s also a pureref file with more anatomy references and examples.
I really hope this will help you get a better grip on human anatomy and that will give you a better insight on what to pay attention when you’re sculpting a human head.
